Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of ttcaptiontool.com and the TT Caption Tool service (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You sign in with a Google account, and new accounts are subject to approval. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

2. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos, images, captions, and other material you upload or create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, render, and transmit Your Content only as needed to provide the Service, including uploading it to accounts you connect. You confirm you have the rights needed to use Your Content this way.

3. Connected platforms

The Service can connect to third-party platforms such as TikTok and Meta. Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and policies, including their advertising and community guidelines. TT Caption Tool is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, ByteDance, or Meta. We don't control how those platforms review, approve, restrict, or remove content or accounts.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

• Break any law or regulation, including consumer protection and advertising laws.
• Violate the terms, advertising policies, or community guidelines of any platform you post to.
• Publish content that is false, misleading, infringing, hateful, or harmful.
• Upload malware, interfere with the Service, or try to access it without authorization.
• Resell or provide the Service to others without our written permission.

We may suspend or end access for any account that violates these rules.

5. AI-generated output

Some features use AI models to suggest captions and hooks. Output may be inaccurate or unsuitable, so review it before publishing. You are responsible for the content you choose to publish.

6. Fees

If any part of the Service is offered for a fee, the price and billing terms will be shown before you're charged. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but it may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if continuing to provide the Service would create legal or security risk.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee any particular advertising result, reach, or platform approval.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, or ad spend. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if greater.

11. Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify us against claims arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any third-party platform's policies.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the Service. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
